The Book Store 7

Good Evening, Ladies and Gents, this is Dresden for The Book Store.

Today, I'll be reviewing "Revenge of the Sith" by Matthew Stover. This is the novelization of the third Star Wars movie, so I'm not even going to bother putting any plot in. You all know how this story goes, and if you don't, stop what you're doing, turn off your computer, and go to your local video rental store and get the movie. Then watch it. Watch it until your eyes bleed.

Welcome back, hope you enjoyed that experience. Though I'm usually a bit leery of books written about a movie, I thoroughly enjoyed this version of the third chapter in the classic Star Wars story. It adhered to the plot of the movie exceptionally well, and, at the same time, improved on the faults of the movie's narrative. I especially loved how Stover threw in so much symbolism and allegory, yet still kept the novel believable and fast paced. The characterization in this book is much deeper than even in the movie, and I loved every second of Stover's magnificent writing.

Review Score: 9/10

As always, this is Dresden, signing off.
