Comic Highlight

Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Dresden.

So I know I usually do books and whatnot, but I decided that another of my interests deserved to be written about. I like comic book characters, I don't have the cash or the dedication to really read comics regularly, thus I read about characters on the internet. So I decided to, from time to time, do a spotlight on my favorite characters from comic books. Thus, for this first entry, I decided to do my favorite character from Marvel. The Hood. So, here's his official origin story.

A petty thief, Parker Robbins broke into a warehouse with his cousin one night and shot and killed a demon residing there. Not wanting to leave empty handed, he stole the beasts' cloak and boots, enabling him to fly and become invisible while holding his breath. It wasn't until the Civil War that Robbins was able to truly put these abilities to work for him. Assembling a massive criminal empire, The Hood was largely successful running a gang of super-villains, and slowly became addicted to the power and respect.

I like this character because, without his cloak and boots, he's just a guy with a gun. In addition I just like villains, they're so much more interesting than the heroes.
